The weeping willow tree at Edgewater is iconic. The tree is one of the most consistent places in my memory throughout my entire life. Visiting it and playing on the rocks around the tree are one of my earliest memories as a child – and I have visited it dozens of times at various points and periods in my life. This just speaks to the power and longevity of trees. I hope trees are incorporated in the final plan to create similar relationships with the lakefront for generations to come.
